I love seeing people learn to understand their bodies and discover how to get the best out of their pilates, whether you are fit and active or somebody who has a long term health conditions which makes activity more challenging.

I'm trained in clinical pilates and regularly update my knowledge of specialist conditions, which allows me to have a deeper understanding of joint, muscular and neurological issues that my clients may have. You can have the confidence you'll exercise in a safe environment, with somebody who understands your body and can provide modifications which will allow you to get the best from your Pilates practice.

I have specialist knowledge to help those with Spinal conditions including Scoliosis, Hypermobility & Fibromyalgia, Muscular Sclerosis, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease.

I like to teach you to move with precision and control, ensuring you learn to execute the exercises as well as possible, getting the best from every movement.

Once you've mastered good technique and built up your strength, I will progress you through to more challenging exercises, as appropriate.​​

Pilates is suitable for everyone and you will be able work at a level that suits you, whether

  • you're already very active and wanting to complement your regular workouts

  • you've not exercised for some time & want to focus on improving balance & flexibility

  • you're recovering from joint pain, joint replacement surgery or cancer treatment

  • or dealing with a long term condition like MS, Parkinson's, a stroke, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis​

Pilates is not just for women, men are increasingly taking pilates classes as they experience the benefits. My classes are mixed and many men come to my classes either on their own or with their partners.

If you are strong and active, Pilates will be able to provide a suitable level of challenge. Once you have mastered the basics, Pilates can be progressed to a challenging level.

Equally, if you are unable to get up and down off the floor easily, there are ways we can make this easier.
